He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. — I John 4:8

First off, this study is based on the word of God. The Holy Bible is the authority of this literature. Therefore, the marriage discussed is solely between a man and a woman — one man and one woman. All other unions are not recognized or acknowledged but are condemned in concord with God’s holy word. To further add clarity to the concession of this treatise, all are going to be judged by a holy God, one who is separate from sin. In these last days, so much deceit is rampant that what is true is difficult to decipher and obtain. Truth informs of a falsehood. Truth declares a right and a wrong. Truth is definite, but in these last days, truth is relative: “Speak your truth.” However, Christ says something contrary, different than the spirit of these last days. He says, “I am the truth, the way, and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). So, because God is holy and shall judge all humanity, there is a need to be informed concerning sin. Even God forewarned Adam, establishing him, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17). It is not God’s will that any be lost or excluded from goodness because God is holy — full of equity. For this cause, God gives us his word. His word is our salvation, our confidence, our hope, our trust. It is to be our belief. Wherefore, we need to know, seeing that we all shall be judged by this holy God, who is full of equity, that he does not desire that any be deceived, becoming lost. And, the foremost deception that behooves us to know is that both the good and the bad go to hell . . . According to our human eyes of flesh, both the good and the bad shall end in hell. Only the holy are spared by God, and one is only found holy in Christ. The ones we see as good and the ones we deem as bad, in their end, if they be found in Christ, they shall both be saved. How is one found in Christ? One is found in Christ by receiving him, his atoning death on the cross for our sins, and being found in his word. To be found in his word means to believe his word, obeying his commands, by ordering our lives according to what he has said — the Word, our God. For, again, the Word is our hope, our confidence, our trust. It is our salvation. And, in these last, deceiving days, it is to be our belief.

Marriage is the first institution known to man, and it was instituted by God. Marriage is the foundational building block of a sound family structure. Therefore, Satan thrives on attacking marriage because it is the basis of every society’s foundation, seeing that each person born has both a mother and a father. The word of God concerning marriage is this:

This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:23-24)

Marriage Was Instituted By God. Holy matrimony was in the mind of God, making mention thereof and implementing it on the sixth day:

Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ So God created man in His image; in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

The second chapter of Genesis informs what occurred in God’s creation of man (vss. 7-24). So, the truth is definite, not relative. God created one man, and he created one woman for the man. In his creation of man, he created them a male and a female. Mankind consists of only males and females according to God’s holy word. All of humanity consists of only either a male or a female according to God’s holy word, and the male and female were created for each other, heterosexually.

      Yet, the concern for this treatise is not that people should get married, but rather upon our treatment of this holy matrimony.
