Cults, World Religions, and the Occult

“Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils” (I Timothy 4:1).

We are greatly in this time. The Bible says that there is nothing new under the sun, and that is very much true. I said in my book Reruns, “I think people follow trends because they hate to be alone.” In my growth, I’ve come to pay attention to trends. They don’t just arrive out of thin air; they are contrived, disguised as cool or fun or something: but in this world, we must always think critically.

Cults, World Religions, and the Occult is an excellent book for those who desire vigilance in these dying days. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (II Timothy 3:1-5).

It's no surprise of the times we’re living in. The scriptures make it absolutely plain. This book aids one in navigating through the deception and beliefs or “doctrines of devils” of this day.

Cults – These are as sects. These are beliefs attached to belief in Christ but are a derivative variation of the belief in some way. For Example, Christian Science, Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses. It is simply a belief that did not stick with the Word of God according to the scriptures.

World Religions - Simply, this is other faiths, creeds, beliefs of the world in other gods or idols.

Occult – The word “occult” means “hidden.” These are dark practices, beliefs, and things that are blatantly of Satan and his kingdom.

Currently, what’s trendy now days be so occultic that it is alarming. All I do is think of I Timothy 4:1. My mother asked me once, why are the saints in God’s house taking these certain pictures of these organizations they’re in . . . being that she even knew that such wasn’t of God. I thought, and after while God’s Word arrived, “You know not that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked” (Revelation 3:18). I just responded, “They’re blind.” I saw that many in the church see nothing wrong with things that are not right. But likewise, that is the case with so many of us: we get involved with so much that derives from the Devil, and we fall in love with it.

I told a girl about this practice she told me she does just as everyone else. Although feelings were involved, that didn’t prevent me from telling her the truth. If one simply googles “Yoga and the occult,” one would not like what they find. This title calls it “Transcendental Meditation.” This title speaks on it. And, I’ve read another title that spoke darkly of it as well. I have no clue if she stopped or if she yet does the stuff, but I shared with her what was real.

This book is for real. It can be a handbook or guide for one to have in these demonic days on how to confront these different beliefs that we encounter on a daily basis nowadays.

Watch these trends. Don’t be as everyone else. Be different. Be saved.

This book is not available in my bookstore, but it is yet available in other places. Get one.
