A few days ago, my father texted, “John Steinbeck research I believe he would be helpful in your writing.” I recognized the author's name and simply replied with this book’s cover, saying “Of mice of men is one of my all-time favorites. I had to read him in high school.” Since then, Of Mice of Men has changed book covers, but I sent him and have used here how the beloved book’s cover was when I had it to read.
This book is a classic. Written in 1937, this book has stood the test of time. Years later, the book is yet being read. My guess is the book cover has received makeovers in order to meet its audience of each new generation more successfully. The book was made a movie in 1992, and my father had just seen it on TV.
For me, the book is a great read. I won’t get into its details, but this I would disclose. Of Mice of Men is a heartfelt story that showcases friendship. Friendship isn’t greatly exalted nowadays, but to have a true friend is a true blessing. I appreciate this work. I suppose this tale struck a note with me because of my character.
Simply put, this book is an interesting tale of a friendship. If interested, support local bookstores and get yours here: https://bookshop.org/a/56410/9780140177398
